Jam rolled cake
A must for breakfast, jam is also used in several sweet recipes.
List of ingredients for 6 persons :
- 4 eggs,
- 100 g of flour,
- 100 g of sugar,
- ½ bag of baking powder
- 1 L’Epicerie de Provence jam (For exemple : cherry flavour spread)
#1 : Preheat your oven to 210°C, and separate the eggs whites from the eggs yolks.
#2 : In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar until it lightens. Then, add slowly the flour and the baking powder.
#3 : Beat the eggs whites and incorporate them delicately in the previous mixture.
#4 : Spread evenly the mix on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 200°C for 10 minutes.
#5 : Remove the cake of the oven and roll up the genoise and let the preparation cool.
#6 : Unwind and remove the paper. Spread the Epicerie de Provence jam of your choice on the cake and roll it up again.
